Goodness, how could such a horrific event go on for four days? How could it be that people did not see the plight of this poor pupper and stop to help her and her puppies before it was too late? We are literally gobsmacked that no one stepped up to help her. After all, we regularly get stories here of hoomans who are willing to go above and beyond the call of duty to ensure the safety and security of the dumped doggos they come across. Apparently, those sweet souls cannot be everywhere at once.

Oh goodness we are literally balling our eyes out now. Time and again we are blown away by the true sensitivity of dogs and just how emotionally aware they are. They feel pain, they feel loss and they most certainly feel love. It is difficult enough that we separate them from their young as though it is a reasonable thing to do. But to see what that process truly does to a mamma dog, who just wants nothing more than to love and nurture the puppies she has worked so hard to bring into the world is heartbreaking.
